Erudite Coffee Roasters is a boutique coffee roastery that is opening its second location at the heart of Portland, Oregon. The state-of-the-art roasting facility and boutique offers a behind-the-curtain look into craft coffee, featuring a cupping lab where coffee is tasted and evaluated, a transparent roasting room, and an open bar area that showcases the company's brand and vision for coffee within Portland. The design of the space seeks to encapsulate a “street-level” and minimalist aesthetic, signifying the roastery’s vision of comfort and approachability. This is achieved with reclaimed wood, earthy textures, and an open, accessible layout, cultivating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The glass and linear forms work to embrace maximum visual transparency, revealing coffee-making processes to incoming patrons and inviting them to explore the rest of the roastery.
